Product description PAN Wallbox Tester
The PAN Wallbox Tester is a versatile testing device for testing e-mobility charging stations with Type 2 connectors. It enables precise simulation of various charging states and currents according to IEC 61851-1 and IEC 62196-2 standards. The device is ideal for technicians and installers who want to reliably test charging stations and ensure the safety of electric vehicle charging stations.
The PAN Wallbox Tester can simulate various vehicle charging states, including “No vehicle connected” (state A), “Vehicle connected, not ready to charge” (state B), “Vehicle connected, ready to charge” (state C) and “Vehicle connected with ventilation request” (State D). In addition, different charging currents (13 A, 20 A, 32 A, 63 A) can be set to test the charging station's response to different loads.
The device features a grounding test to simulate a missing protective conductor and a communication test to simulate a short circuit in the control pilot (CP) line. A Schuko socket (max. 10 A) allows the connection of external loads during the test sequence. Three LEDs indicate the voltage presence on phases L1, L2, and L3, providing a quick visual check.
The PAN Wallbox Tester is robustly built, dust and splash-proof (IP54) and therefore suitable for use in demanding environments.
A Type 2 adapter and detailed operating instructions are included.
